This Privacy Policy details how we collect, store, share, and protect information when you register as a buyer or creator on our platform, in full compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, and Information Technology (IT) Rules.

1. Consent and User Rights

By logging into DesiDigitalHub, creating a seller shop, or purchasing assets, you explicitly consent to the collection and processing of your details for payments, downloads, and support. As a data principal in India, you retain rights to access, correct, or erase your stored data at any point through your Dashboard Profile settings.

2. Information We Collect

  • Personal Identifiable Information: Name, Email Address, Social Profiles (Google OAuth parameters), IP address.
  • Creator Compliance Data: UPI VPA, Bank accounts (encrypted for withdrawals), GSTIN (where provided for B2B tax compliance).
  • Transaction Data: Cart contents, purchase logs, order confirmations, and support tickets. We do not store card details directly; all credit/debit card entries are securely handled by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways.

3. Legal Purpose of Data Processing

We process personal data solely for legitimate reasons, including:

  1. To enable digital duplicate delivery of purchased products (Notion templates, presets, code files).
  2. To authenticate user roles (Buyer, Seller, Admin) and enforce security blocks.
  3. To compute GST invoices, process ₹50 per listing agreements, and distribute creator payouts.
  4. To satisfy direct regulatory reporting requirements in compliance with Indian banking and IT standards.

4. Data Sharing and Protection

DesiDigitalHub does not rent or sell user contacts to third-party advertisers. Your information is shared only with payment partners (e.g., Razorpay) to complete checkouts, or when legally compelled by Indian law enforcement. All personal records are stored securely with enterprise database encryption.

5. Cookie Policy

We use functional technical cookies to track cart items, keep users logged into their session, and remember language preferences (English/Hindi). You can disable cookies in your browser settings, which may impact dashboard loading functionalities.
